The ECLC PTA was established in 1999 and has accomplished a lot over the last few years. The ECLC PTA's objective is to promote, support and enrich the educational, social and fundraising activities involving our students, teachers and parents.
"The PTA¡¯s activities vary and in the past have included events such as Original Artwork designs from our children, an eventful ECLC 40th celebration, "Stuck on You" labels for your children¡¯s clothing items, donations to orphanages and many other exciting events! The events are coordinated through the involvement of ECLC staff, students, parents and the PTA committee.
"Parents have the opportunity and are encouraged to be involved with the school - for example, being a Room Parent for your child¡¯s class, Busy Bee, Library Volunteer and Reading Program volunteer to name a few. Several activities involve fundraising such as Original Artworks Project and Read-A-Thon. In April 2010 we had a celebration for ECLC¡¯s 40th birthday where all funds raised were used to enhance the upstairs playground."
All ECLC parents are members of the PTA and we encourage everyone to participate! We encourage every parent to become involved as much as possible - even if you have very little time, every little bit helps ECLC and our children. Please contact the PTA President if you have any questions about the PTA or what you can do to work with us.
The PTA Committee is made up of numerous volunteers. The current positions include President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Scholastic Book Coordinator, Spirit Wear Coordinator and Head Room Mum. The Committee is elected each spring for the forthcoming school year. Additionally, parents may volunteer through the year to help plan and coordinate the various PTA-sponsored activities.

Schedule of PTA Meeting
Please come to a PTA meeting! The PTA meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 9:30 am. Find out what we are planning, or just come to meet other parents and talk about school programs and activities. If you cannot come to a meeting, you can find out what we discussed by reading the minutes of the meeting. Links to these are provided below.
